Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 [Purpose]
These Terms of Service are intended to set forth the basic matters concerning the conditions and procedures for the use of the online information services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") provided by LEEPEEM Plastic Surgery (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").
Article 2 [Amendment of the Terms]
The Company may amend these Terms, and the amended Terms shall take effect upon being announced to members on the service screen or by other means.
Article 3 [Definition of User]
A "User" means a person who accesses the Company's website, registers as an internet member in accordance with these Terms, and receives the Services provided.
Chapter 2 Member Management and Services
Article 4 [Member ID and Password]
Membership registration is free of charge, and all responsibility for managing the member ID and password rests entirely with the User. The User shall be responsible for all consequences arising from the negligent management or unauthorized use of the ID and password assigned to the User. If a member's own ID is used without authorization, the User must notify the Company of such fact without delay and take measures accordingly; the Company shall not be responsible for any part arising from delayed notification.
Article 5 [Membership Withdrawal]
1. If a member wishes to withdraw, the member shall submit a withdrawal request to the Company's representative by email.
2. The Company may terminate the use agreement without prior notice or suspend the use of the Services for a specified period if a member commits any of the following acts.
1) Where the member misappropriates another person's name, ID, or password
2) Where the member intentionally interferes with the operation of the Services
3) Where the registered name is not the member's real name
4) Where the same user registers twice under a different name or alias
5) Where the member intentionally disseminates content that is detrimental to public order and good morals
6) Where the member plans or carries out the use of the Services for the purpose of harming the national interest or social public interest
7) Where the member commits an act that damages another person's reputation or causes them disadvantage
8) Where the member infringes a third party's intellectual property rights
9) Where the member reproduces, distributes, or commercially uses information obtained by using the Company's service information without the Company's prior consent
10) Where it is otherwise deemed inappropriate to maintain the member's qualification as a member
Article 6 [Content and Modification of the Services]
1. The Company provides various information services, and their content may be added to, changed, or suspended as necessary. In addition, the Company may suspend the Services due to unavoidable circumstances such as natural disasters or failure of relay lines.
2. The Company may, when necessary, send e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the member at the time of registration without the member's consent.
Article 7 [Business Partnerships]
The Company may partner with other companies for certain parts of the Services in order to promote the convenience of Users and to operate the Services effectively. Activities carried out by a partner company in connection with the Services shall have effect equivalent to activities directly conducted by the Company.
Article 8 [Approval of Service Use]
1. The Company may approve a use application when a member accurately enters all matters prescribed by the Company and applies for use, with the exceptions set forth in Paragraphs 2 and 3 below.
2. The Company may withhold approval in any of the following cases.
1) Where there is insufficient facility capacity
2) Where there are technical difficulties
3) Where the Company otherwise deems it necessary
3. The Company may withhold approval for use applications falling under any of the following.
1) Where the name is not the real name
2) Where the application is made using another person's name
3) Where the required details are falsely entered at the time of the use application
4) Where the application is made for the purpose of impairing the peace and order of society or good morals
5) Where the requirements for the use application set by the Company are otherwise not met
Article 9 [Use of Member Registration Information]
1. The Company may use member registration information in the form of aggregate statistics. In addition, each User's personal information shall not be disclosed without the User's consent, except where the User causes harm to others or otherwise causes other improper problems.
2. The Company may use a member's information in accordance with due legal process where the member infringes the Company's rights or commits other unlawful acts.
3. Where an investigative agency requests a member's information in accordance with due legal process in connection with an investigation, the Company may comply and provide the member's registration information to the investigative agency.
Article 10 [Suspension of the Services]
1. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Services in the event of repair, inspection, replacement, or breakdown of information and communications facilities such as computers, interruption of communications, or other force majeure circumstances.
2. The Company shall not compensate for any damage incurred by a User or a third party due to the temporary suspension of the provision of the Services for the reasons set forth in Paragraph 1. However, this shall not apply where there is willful misconduct or negligence on the part of the Company.
Chapter 3 Terms and Damages
Article 11 [Rules Outside These Terms]
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by the provisions of the Framework Act on Telecommunications (Korea), the Telecommunications Business Act (Korea), and other relevant statutes.
1. The Company shall comply with the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions (Korea), the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions (Korea), the Digital Signature Act (Korea), and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (Korea).
2. Matters not stipulated in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the Consumer Protection Guidelines for Electronic Transactions enacted by the government, related statutes, or commercial practices in electronic commerce.
Article 12 [Damages]
The Company shall not be liable in any case for any damage incurred by a User in connection with the use of the Services.
Article 13 [Disclaimer]
1. The Company shall not be liable for the provision of the Services where it is unable to provide the Services due to a natural disaster or force majeure equivalent thereto.
2. The Company shall not be liable for any disruption to the use of the Services arising from causes attributable to the member.
3. The Company shall not be liable for any loss of profits that a member expected to obtain by using the Services, nor shall it be liable for any damage arising from materials obtained through the Services.
4. The Company shall not be liable for the content of information, materials, or facts posted by a member on the Services, including their reliability and accuracy.
Article 14 [Competent Court]
In the event that a lawsuit is filed regarding a dispute arising from the use of the Services, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company shall be the competent court.
[Addendum] (Effective Date) This Use Policy shall take effect from February 1, 2025.
